Peppermint (Mentha × piperita), a delicacy used in cooking and everywhere as a medicinal plant, is in fact a hybrid of water mint and green mint, obtained in 1696 by the crossing of wild species in England. Mint cultivation spread from England to Europe and Africa, and today peppermint is found in the wild mainly in Central and Southern Europe. As a garden plant, it is grown precisely because of its pleasant aroma and fresh taste. Peppermint with a pleasantly spicy and refreshing smell has a relaxing and digestive effect. In the relaxed state, bloating and belching are reduced, and seizures and spasms are relieved.
– Has a positive effect on gastrointestinal health and helps support bile and stomach function.
– Mint relaxes the mind, mind and body, creating a sense of balance and well-being.
